💥PART 1: Is SARS-CoV-2 a biological weapon that had undergone “gain of function” research?

Dr. Francis Boyle, an international law professor who wrote the Biological Warfare Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989,[1*] believes that the coronavirus circulating around the globe was originally started in a lab in the University of North Carolina under Ralph Baric.[2*,3*] Back in 2015, he and his team published a study entitled:

‘A SARS-like cluster of circulating bat coronaviruses shows potential for human emergence’

“The emergence of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV) and Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS)-CoV underscores the threat of cross-species transmission events leading to outbreaks in humans. Here we examine the disease potential of a SARS-like virus, SHC014- CoV, which is currently circulating in Chinese horseshoe bat populations1. Using the SARS-CoV reverse genetics system2, we generated and characterized a chimeric virus expressing the spike of bat coronavirus SHC014 in a mouse-adapted SARS-CoV backbone. The results indicate that group 2b viruses encoding the SHC014 spike in a wild-type backbone can efficiently use multiple orthologs of the SARS receptor human angiotensin converting enzyme II (ACE2), replicate efficiently in primary human airway cells and achieve in vitro titers equivalent to epidemic strains of SARS-CoV. Additionally, in vivo experiments demonstrate replication of the chimeric virus in mouse lung with notable pathogenesis. Evaluation of available SARS-based immune-therapeutic and prophylactic modalities revealed poor efficacy; both monoclonal antibody and vaccine approaches failed to neutralize and protect from infection with CoVs using the novel spike protein. On the basis of these findings, we synthetically re-derived an infectious full-length SHC014 recombinant virus and demonstrate robust viral replication both in vitro and in vivo. Our work suggests a potential risk of SARS-CoV re-emergence from viruses currently circulating in bat populations.”[3*]

^All that scientific writing merely states that they CREATED a SARS-like bat coronavirus that had undergone “gain of function” engineering. Guess who else was also a part of this study? Zing-Ye Ge and Zhengli-Li Shi, two Chinese virologists from CAS Key Laboratory of Special Pathogens and Biosafety, Center for Emerging Infectious Diseases of Wuhan Institute of Virology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wuhan, China[4*]

Xing-Ye Ge and Zhengli-Li Shi were part of a team that published this Chinese study in 2017 entitled:

‘Discovery of a rich gene pool of bat SARS-related coronaviruses provides new insights into the origin of SARS coronavirus’

RESULTS

“We have carried out a five-year longitudinal surveillance (April 2011 to October 2015) on SARSr-CoVs in bats from a single habitat in proximity to Kunming city, Yunnan province, China, which was mainly inhabited by horseshoe bats. A total of 602 alimentary specimens (anal swabs or feces)[6*]were collected and tested for the presence of CoVs by a Pan-CoV RT-PCR targeting the 440-nt RdRp fragment that is conserved among all known α- and β-CoVs [20]. In total, 84 samples tested positive for CoVs. Sequencing of the PCR amplicons revealed the presence of SARSr-CoVs in the majority (64/84) of the CoV-positive samples (Table 1).”

CONSTRUCTION OF RECOMBINANT VIRUSES

“Recombinant viruses with the S gene of the novel bat SARSr-CoVs and the backbone of the infectious clone of SARSr-CoV WIV1 were constructed using the reverse genetic system described previously [23] (S9 Fig). The fragments E and F were re-amplified with primer pairs.”[4*]

Whether released on purpose or by accident, SARS-CoV-2 looks to be a “gain of function” engineered bioweapon and a recent Chinese study on the origins of the coronavirus link confirms part of this hypothesis:

‘The Possible Origins of 2019-CoV Coronavirus’

“In summary, somebody was entangled with the evolution of 2019-nCoV coronavirus. In addition to origins of natural recombination and intermediate host, the killer coronavirus probably originated from a laboratory in Wuhan. Safety level may need to be reinforced in high risk biohazardous laboratories. Regulations may be taken to relocate these laboratories far away from city center and other densely populated places.”[5*]

It must be noted that the first clinical cases as described by The Lancet states the virus did not originate in a Wuhan Seafood Market. The study is entitled:

‘Clinical features of patients infected with 2019 novel coronavirus in Wuhan, China’

RESULTS

“The symptom onset date of the first patient identified was Dec 1, 2019. None of his family members developed fever or any respiratory symptoms. No epidemiological link was found between the first patient and later cases.”[6*,7*]

If symptom onset happened December 1st, this means the incubation period would determine when the first patient was infected thus placing the timeline before the theory it had originated in the Wuhan Seafood Market.

One last thing I discovered in my research thus far. The following is translated from a help wanted ad from the Wuhan Institute of Virology[8*]

MY CONCLUSION

Is SARS-CoV-2 a “gain of function” engineered bioweapon? So far the evidence suggests just that.
