Nine Weeks to Coronavirus Chaos in the US? (UPDATE: 28.7 M cases -- 516 K dead - Week 9 Recap: p. 53)

I reside in Spokane and was listening to a doctor on the radio discussing coronavirus. He’s a specialist in the subject he is from Seattle and he says that it’s matter of weeks before Seattle becomes like Wuhan. And I bet Spokane is not far past that.
I don’t believe that the virus is the same as well hon but I bet those seeking treatment and the urgency in the overcrowding of hospitals is going to be the same. So grateful my employers allowed us to start working from home two weeks ago I requested the equipment so it’s a matter of time.

We could be seeing China's official numbers in less than four.


But I am leaving the title of the thread unchanged.

Looks like all the countries in the american continent are not taking this virus serious, the number must be 1000x higher right now.

I don't think it has probably spread all that much in S. America yet.


I think the CDC and the government are downplaying the spread here in the US.

Hey, if you don't test anyone, you can keep the numbers really low -- and the stock market and the president will be very happy with you!

I just landed at JFK after reporting on #coronavirus in Milan and Lombardy —the epicenter of Italy’s outbreak— for

. I walked right through US customs. They didn’t ask me where in Italy I went or if I came into contact with sick people. They didn’t ask me anything.
