Fear is not real. The only place that fear can exist is in our thoughts of the future. It is a product of our imagination, causing us to fear things that do not at present and may not ever exist. That is near insanity... Now do not misunderstand me, danger is very real but fear is a choice. We are all telling ourselves a story...

I would have discussions with evangelists, and they would make arguments about the desperate need for solidarity and numbers in Christian communities. I'm not against unity in communities, but their argument was delivered with fear, and designed to appeal to fear. Their manner was full of fear, and they feared devils, words, ideas, hell, etc. God didn't give us a spirit of fear. If they were born again and filled with the holy spirit, what was with all the fear? Why do they choose to tune in a spirit of fear all the time?
