I am prepping differently now.

I think the "for profit" healthcare system will be abolished.

People will be outraged by all of the screw ups on testing and the lack of flex for a large influx of patients

I think we will definitely come out the other side with a social credit score that includes a vaccination record and community standards compliance.

Let's see.. the cities become mad-max wargrounds of violent and very territorial gangs with warlords, and the rural areas (far from cities) become relatively peaceful pastoral life (much like the early settlers), and travel between places is a dangerous adventure full of potential brigands, marauders, looters, cannibals and all the usual jazz, very wild wild west style.

I think we will change our form of government. POTUS won't have as much singular authority. POTUS won't be able to change shit, undue shit with exec order.


Certainly not healthcare related stuff.

Some form of debt forgiveness will be necessary.

Between broken supply chsin, broken contracts and people unable to pay bills if they are quarantine - it will be necessary to get the engines if commerce going again. A reset.

Everyone can see this morning that the old paradigm is failing. There's no going back to what it was. We see the market for what it really is, what it always was. Not real.

1918 and 1957-8 pandemics didn't change the world that much.

I was thinking the same thing. If this is a global reset will we all just lose everything or will they restart it all with debt forgiveness? I think the fear of this is going to cause a lot of problems.

Let’s play out the scenario, first.

A massive wave of infections is coming that sweeps through the United States and Europe, then Latin America, overloading hospitals and killing millions.

Will the fabric of society hold together? I believe that it will. Even if 500 million did worldwide and 50 million in the US, the human race will survive and carry on as-is. Some countries here in Latin America might collapse into narco states or dictatorships, but I expect business as usual up north...

Except.

Except if this isn’t just a killer virus that sweeps over us and disappears, but a chronic, seasonal attack that comes back even stronger in October. If that happens OP, all bets are off.

Social Security will save some money.

A Lot of younger people inherit Money and houses.

America will produce its own goods again.
