NWA contractor here. First day down with the virus. Spreading like wildfire through the construction world. No possible way to follow guidelines(no more than 10 people, wash your hands, 6 feet apart) and actually do our job. We then go to the store, pump gas, go to lowes, and use debit card machines that arent being cleaned. Cant get tested to help Asa see the true numbers out there. This is just starting to get bad here.

This thing can incubate for 2 weeks without symptoms. That is the scary thing about it. Many people showing symptoms now, were infected several weeks ago.

You are correct, RB. Actually, I believe earlier on this thread there was a news story about a female college student who isolated from the virus, she said (paraphrasing) 'OMG, I can't wait to go outside and do fun stuff again!'

Well, she died.

(Unless I'm mistaken... somebody please correct me if I am wrong, but that was my understanding)

Very sad...

Whoa. I didn't know she died. :(

We had to pick up our dog from the vet today. I was surprised at how many cars on the road and in parking lots there still are in Harrison. Aldi's, Dollar Store and Walmart parking lots looked normal. Restaurant parking lots were empty.

The only way my dog will take pills is in a piece of a hotdog, so I had to stop and get some in Bellefonte at Harp's. Hadn't intended to go back into a store for a long while, but I felt I had no choice as my dog has to take prednisone and it has to go down one way or the other.

I was surprised to see 'limit' signs on some items, and some shelves looking very sparse. It has been a couple of weeks since I've been in a store. The cashier had a big piece of plexi-glass between her and the customers, and was wearing gloves. That was kind of shocking.

Hope you all have a good night.

Very interesting that other Harp's also have instituted the plexi-glass. The plexi-glass totally caught me off guard in such a 'small-town' store...but I'm glad they are being safe.

One problem I'm finding, is that when they cashier says something, it's like Charlie Browns' parents. "wum wum wum", so people have to crane their necks AROUND the plexi-glass, and say, "Huh?"

Thus, defeating the patented "sneeze-guard" technology.

But yes, every little measure does help.

Also, the HARPS in Fayetteville are CONSTANTLY using floor buffers, and I mean, non-stop. (As far as I can tell)

Thanks for your updates, as always Rhesus Buttercup. hf

BTW, my panic attacks -- still happening. I finally cut out all caffeine, this is day three. And I've been eating bananas and potatoes like there's no tomor-- well, like crazy. Yesterday was better, but this morning as SOON as I woke up, and I mean within 30 seconds, I felt a panic attack coming on. WTF.

I had to run my head under ice cold water from my shower and slap myself in the face, and say "GET IT TOGETHER WHARF!" and now I'm still panicky.

Honestly, I think I gotta see if I can get my blood pressure prescription filled. It's been about 6 years, so they probably won't do it. But at this point, it feels like a gorilla is standing on my neck, and my pulse is ~120 beats per minute.....

Dang it, I'm sorry for the rant. Let me change the subject....
