Yea.. at worse the major cities would become mad-max like wastelands of chaos (new orleans during the floods), and we'll have to revert to a pastoral existence out in the rural areas in order to grow and store enough food for the winters.



Or maybe it'll be a big recession, and the buying power of a dollar will drop significantly, so the big stash becomes the equivalent of a regular stash in value.
