Local GLPer SHTF Tribes?

Is that a thing?

If so, PLEASE post any links to meetup pages, et al, for anything you may have come across.

If not: Why not? I can only speak for us myself, but, when I take a quick gander at my neighbors, I can say for certain two things:

1) they’re almost immediately dismissive of critical thinking and the prevailing ideology is, “well, the CDC says... (insert nothingburger rhetoric here), so, I’m not even going to think about it.” Good plan...

2) the normalcy bias is v. strong ‘round these parts.

I know this is breaking the fifth wall or whatever, attempting to incite F2F relationships in a population that’s 100% virtual, but can’t help but think the time to consider banding together with locally like-minded aware individuals is about nowish.

I had GREAT hopes for the apps NextDoor and Citizen, but both almost immediately devolved into a soapbox for ranting and raving about things like dog shit found in yards and gawking at how bad things are in the core areas of the metro areas Citizen covers.
