Solano County in California, Ground zero in America's first Corona virus community outbreak, and location of the Coronavirus quarantine at Travis Air base, cannot get test kits and never has gotten them, despite the numerous requests from doctors and from the Department of Public Health. Even infected doctors are pleading for tests and are being denied.

Here is the director, telling the husband of an infected physician, that he is not going to issue a test for her, or for anyone else, for that matter:

The director goes on to say that counties with no outbreak are getting tests and are testing anyone who asks, despite there being no cases of the virus in that county. Counties with outbreaks are being denied test kits. See the connection?

It seems to me that they intentionally want to keep the numbers low to lull everyone into a false sense of security. It's working, too. People are being shamed for wearing masks in public. I made one post in social media, about the testing situation, and I received several hundred replies in the thread, mostly from angry folk who complained that it's all just a big nothing burger and "why do we even have talk about it?"

Oh well, protect the markets at all costs...
