Let's play a game

Test all 330m Americans on the same day.

Get the results, Positive and sick, positive asymptomatic, exposed to positive people, negative and no exposure.

Then what do you do for minimal new cases??????

1. Put all sick people in one place(s)
2. when they get better keep them in another place all together until they test negative for 3 weeks (because of the reinfections from nowhere).
3. when everyone in the place are ALL negative for 3 weeks you can release them.

4. Put positive asymptomatic in another place. If any become sick transfer them to 1.
5. When they test negative transfer to 2.

6. Put all those exposed into another place. If they test positive follow the same rules. If everyone is negative for 3 weeks they can be released.

7. Those with no exposure or risk can go on with life.

8. Clearly all borders will need to be closed or everyone entering the country will need to be quarantined and treated accordingly.

For a 2% death rate, even a 10% death rate, there isn't a hope in hell the American population would agree to this and CNN, CNBC and all the rest would scream how draconian Trump was. Just the same if Trump banned all gatherings of say 500 people or more including closing all schools and workplaces with that many people in one location.
