Shasta County's first case of Corona virus.

SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. — The first coronavirus case has been confirmed in Shasta County, health officials say.

The Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency announced on Sunday that a man in his fifties is the first Shasta County resident to receive a presumptive diagnosis of COVID-19, the novel Coronavirus.

Officials say the man is recovering in isolation at home.
