Both Communism and todays American Capitalist agree on one thing. That workers should be at their mercy and have no rights or freedoms to organize.

If a group of Americans went to China to encourage workers to form and join unions, the Chinese Communist Party would kill them and American Capitalists would cheer it on.

China is going to be in a much weakened state. Already around the globe countries are scrambling to find suppliers outside of China, and ramp up production of things inside their own countries. Coronavirus has permanently altered things for China. It has shown the rest of the world how vulnerable to them we are. Right now is our weakest time against China. Believe me we will learn our lesson this year about importing important things from them. In 5 years China will be a 3rd world country. They can't survive without selling goods to the rest of the world.

Under Communism, you have the Communism running the government. Under Capitalism, you have the big capitalists running the government. They both work to exploit their people.

In true free market capitalism, capitalists should be nowhere near our government but existing on risks like everyone else.

Bail outs, crony capitalism, corporate and banking lobbyists is a perversion of capitalism and nothing is being done about it to throw these people out of our government.

China is playing for the long game while in America we only play by quarterly short term profits.

My grandfather was assigned to the US Embassy in Berlin BEFORE the wall went up. His home (a condo in today's terms) was in the best neighborhood of EAST Berlin.

He was escorted by armed Marines to go home and fetch his wife and his grandson (me) and a few clothes and toiletries. The furnishings and the apartment itself were seized by the communists. He never saw them again. He retired from the Diplomatic Corps years later and still the wall was up, dividing Berlin.

I've seen what Communism can do at close range. I saw my friends who were in their early teens conscripted into the German/Communist army and forced to fight or die. The sick and elderly are left alone to rot. If they have money, fine. If not they can easily starve or freeze from lack of heating fuel. It is a governmental system without regard for citizens or a shred of decency or kindness.

Hopefully, the Wuhan Virus will slow down the Chinese plans for the conquest of the west by a few decades or longer. But beware, if it doesn't - be prepared to resist them, even if it means sacrificing of your own life. They are an evil regime and only the party leaders and their lackies have any quality of life. The rest of the country is treated as slaves. Wage earning, tax-paying slaves, but slaves none-the-less.

There will be no lesson learned.
The profiteers are not coming back to the US where workers demand higher wages. They will relocate to some other slave
Labor nation until that country too breaks down from some illness, natural disaster or war.

In a nutshell, the upper crust of Chinese society is the same as anywhere else, they flaunt their wealth.
