however, that boat sank on me before it could even sail

I had too many physical / medical issues that prevented me from being capable of having a family during those prime years

I had no desire to put that burden on a lady to be burdened by my illness as well as raise a family

otherwise I probably would have had 3 or more kids

it's too late now
even if I started tomorrow morning
I'd likely be dead before the first graduated HS
