They should always say "11:59 PM" instead, makes it so much more clear. Midnight just means both - so you have to guess what day they actually mean.

What are you talking about? There are already thousands of undetected cases in the US due to a lack of testing.

I'm talking about being clear when these travel bans start.

If they ban travel from Georgia to Florida at midnight Tuesday, I need to know what f^cking day that is.

They need to be CLEAR when these bans start - 11:59 PM on whatever day, that's clear enough for anybody to understand.

You say "midnight" - you might be caught out a day early, or late, depending ...

I'm unsure why we are excluded. We have a number of cases mostly in the east of the country around Dublin which is where the only major airport in the country is. The ban doesn't make any sense since anyone in Europe can just fly into the UK and hop a plane to the US.

I'm only on my second cup of coffee and waking up to this news. I tried to stay up for the President's address last night, but 1 AM hit over here and I was gone. Damn timezones.
