Hi all y'all. Really enjoying reading through this thread; much of it's hit home for me. Wishing everyone safe tidings.

As for staying home...spring is soon here. I finally got to building an 8x4x4 burn pit, that's proving a Godsend for tacklin' years of accumulated leaves, scrub, fallen limbs and overgrowth that came free with my house. Can't dig gardens until areas are properly cleared. Sooo, staying home is fine with me.

I plan to spend a good portion of the coming weeks cutting wood, lighting big fires, and setting up a small greenhouse, hoping to detract deer and other critters this year.

Normally I'd agree, but the LAST place you want to be in a COVID outbreak is in a prison, even if the reason is righteous.

I understand, but it's not the time for me to start a family feud during stressful times. (Yet)

Well, the president said if you're sick, stay home.

I've felt like hell for two weeks then on Monday it turned into the flu. I'm pretty sure it's just the normal flu though.

Still, Tomorrow I may just walk into the plant managers office, tell him what the Pres said and see about taking a few days off. Hell I'm pretty sure I've already infected everyone in the plant with their bio metric time clock. It has to have a finger print.

Keeping my husband home. He Has underlining medical conditions. Kidney, heart disease. He is elderly. I must be very careful.

My husband and I are considered elderly. He is 67 and I am 66. With his diagnoses, I just can't force him to stay at home, if he is having a good day, or a part of the day that is good.He has 2 brothers living nearby. He wants to visit them, that is fine with me. If he just wants to venture out, we go with him, just in case he starts going sour, and can't make it home.
We are taking this all one day at a time. We know his tumor has got bigger, and what time he has left, only God knows.

I do encourage everyone to stock up on supplies, and plant a garden if you can. God is Faithful and True,and God will help those who help themselves. Above all, have no fear. This rock is just a temporary stop on the way to eternity.
