I have gone to the same grocery store for years, and I have never seen it that busy, even at Christmas or before a predicted snowstorm. It was nothing like this last Thursday, just your regular everyday shoppers. The shelves were still fairly stocked. They were out of TP and hand sanitizer, the Advil I buy was gone. There was one box left, but not the kind I use. There was still a lot of Tylenol. Some shelves of canned foods were cleared, but there were a lot of people restocking. The lines went all around the store. I was going to take a picture, but I didn't want people thinking I was a weirdo. lol |

I don't know what's going on, and that's scary enough in itself. They don't shut down the NHL, NBA for nothing. Wtf is really going on? I work with a little boy who came to us from China at the end of Jan. Both he and his brother have already been sick once. Today, he came to me after PE holding his stomach and not looking well. I used google translator to ask him if his stomach felt sick and he said yes. When the secretary called his mom, she spoke to him in Chinese, and she said it was just because he overdid it in PE. That was 10ish in the morning. By lunch, he was not feeling any better, so he was sent home. It's a little hard not to be scared by this. That's getting close to home AG. He should probably be wearing a kiddie mask. He could infect the whole school. I know. I was surprised my bosses didn't tell the parent to pick him up immediately. Especially when he has never once complained about anything. |
