If I had to give everyone advice it would be this. Don't panic. If you're here, you're already many steps ahead of the common person.

If shit really does hit the fan, there's only going to be so much you can prep for.. I'd prefer to have long term options. If you have a backyard, now is the time to start planting crops like the "3 sisters" (corn, squash, & beans). Fortunately there has been ample rain here on the west coast so there are many perennial sources of water in the mountains. I'd suggest getting a water purification system from somewhere like REI just in case.

Lots of evidence suggests the virus can be prevented or effects lessened with large doses of vitamin c (ideally keep the liposomal form on hand if you get sick). Take 2-3g per day (or more). A 90lb goat will produce 10g of vitamin c on its own everyday and more if it gets sick. It's likely a weakness of human evolution that we don't produce it on our own.
