Viruses don't like heat. That's why the body uses fever to kill them. And thats why the flu season subsides in summer.

Dr. John Campbell said fever is the body purposefully heating itself up to fight the infection. He said he personally wouldn't recommend taking things to counteract that.

So here we have an article attributed to one Swiss individual and one Greek individual using data from China. Can we trust this?

In one of the treatment guidelines that the Chinese put out one of their treatments was some type of herbal soup and one of the ingredients was Ginger. So that might be useful as an inflammatory.

It is just hard to really know what to take because this is such a new virus that hasn't been tested thoroughly.

I heard that Aleve works wonders..

Is Aleve an ACE inhibitor too?

Pretty much says in the article the "the increased expression of ACE2 would facilitate infection with COVID-19"

It also states that "ACE2-stimulating drugs increases the
risk of developing severe and fatal COVID-19."

And it also states that "ACE2 can also be increased by thiazolidinediones and ibuprofen."

So not hard to see that an increase in ACE2 can facilitate the risk of developing severe and fatal COvid-19 infection....and ibuprofen can increase that ACE2.

So why would anyone want to take a chance by taking ibuprofen and help "facilitate" the infection in the first place when there are other options for pain relief.

Well fuck. Uncle Intel here: I just received the exact same information from a friend's friend who works in a big hospital in Vienna. There are no valid numbers to prove this but there are Bug hinter that this is true.

Take a shower or a bath. Tepid water. Not hot, not cold water. Do as often as needed when your temperature is elevated.
