I've had them from an inguinal hernia, usually after going to the gym -- hurts like hell for a couple of hours, then passes

Yea AC mine start and move around my stomach and the pain is intense for 5-10 minutes and then eventually it goes away. I was wondering if myabe I got another problem like IBS because I don't see stomach cramps mentioned anywhere on the net in regards to hernias. Mine has just got so large I think its moving my digestive tract and that's casuing contractions. Mine is a umbilical hernia.

Then im usually sore for a day or two after that. Sometimes that causes the other side of my stomach to cramp within a day or to as well. Once I had it hit both sides of my stomach at the same time. I'm really tired of it.

I've had a hernia about 5 years ago trying to move a 6,000 pound pallet with a pallet jack that had rubber wheels. LOL. Required a double wall patch. Outpatient surgery. I was in and out in 90 minutes. It was relatively painless, but I did have to avoid lifting much for a month, else risk tearing the patch away and making a bigger mess to deal with. Friend of mine incredibly had a hernia the next day after I did. And his surgery was the day after mine. He was a real wussy and ate pain pills for 4 days afterwards while laying around whining and limping about the house. Gawd, what a baby. lol I didn't even know I had a hernia, but I felt something ... like something tore or ripped. Someone heard my comment and said it was probably a hernia. I felt no pain when it happened, just that weird sensation as part of my lower guy blew out though the torn hole inside me now.
