US troops presence and the stealing of Iraqi oil is the reason Iranian backed factions are popular in Iraq. With US troops gone, Iraqi people would just go back to supporting Iraq and not Iran. You have a good point. The us is just making a mess over there. Let those people straighten out their issues while we straighten out our own problems.
