Bet the 70,80,90 year olds do not want the entire economy/pensions collapsing to TRY to keep them from getting the Coronavirus.

They would rather just be careful to not go out much. The CV risk to anyone up to the age of 60-70 or so is small. To shut the country down is massively destructive. The older people will be greatly harmed by this countrywide shutdown and would not want it. The CV appears to be so contagious that it cannot be stopped so why pretend that you can stop it at the expense of collapsing the country financially. Terrible leadership at the moment it seems.
