I'm a Software Architect and I can do my job from anywhere in the world as long as there is an Internet connection.

While I go to an office 3-4 days a week, I have been Working from Home (WFH) for years (any chance I can to not have to go in), so this is nothing different for me.

I am very grateful for my position in life.

My wife is a RN and obviously she can't WFH. Wish she didn't have to go (Operating Room RN) in right now given the circumstances.

She is doing only surgeries that are needed. All elective surgeries have been cancelled.

Hope your head feels better soon, lovely. I assume there is some peppermint in there... stress headaches are the worst, sometimes icing my neck helps if nothing else.

So what sort of work is it AG?

MECHAINCAL EQUIPMENT SALES.

No one is going to be buying shit in the next 3+ months except emergency facility spending.

My husband has taken over the few bills that I paid so that I can stay home with the kids.

I know that we are lucky to be able to do this.. But I am so freaking bored!

I can't believe it's only Wednesday. This week has seemed sooooooo long.

This obviously applies to just the last couple of weeks.

I am working from home and getting paid. Our yearly calendar has now been changed because of this, and we will be working through (if/when we go back) what would have otherwise been weeks we would not have. Because of that, we are only supposed to put in 3 hours a day, maximum 15 hours a week during this time. I'm putting in more than that though which is fine by me. I'm just grateful I'm getting paid.

Getting Trump Money too I hope.

Yes. We were told yesterday to come get anything we needed from our desk (including equipment) and WFH through at least 17-April.

Which is great because I am now caretaker for my elderly parents. We decided to stop the paid service since both my parents are 80+ and both high-risk (aside from age) and even though I know those providers are very careful, it seemed safer to not have people in and out every day.

The nature of my work requires me to go out.
