I was 4 during the riots and we lived in Detroit on the east side

Remember my Dad putting us in the closet and hearing gun shots, we had just had a huge block picnic and all the kids were running around having fun

After that my grandfather, who had a plane, flew us up north to get out of Detroit

Funny when your a kid you don’t understand the magnitude of what’s going on around you, I was more sacred being in a dark closet than playing outside with gun fire all around.

The progressives and Bernie Bros kids look ridiculous rioting

Protesting, fine and dandy, but rioting with the big boys looks so silly

Moved out of Detroit right after that, I’ve watched the city decline my entire life but the last few years it’s coming back, my kids friends are moving there to apartments, my youngest lives on Woodward

I made him come last night because of the riots I knew would result from the protests

It’s still a beautiful City

So many beautiful areas

Michigan is a beautiful place period

Just has idiots in charge

So glad the kids got removed from danger

I look at a lot of really nice flats down town

Some really nice places

Teachers union

Wolves in sheep’s clothing

Until that back is broken

Michigan will not change

I actually looked at mansions in Indian village as a home for my business back in 2011

But one trip through there and I said no way

Nice to look at ,but no thanks

We go on trips through the City all the time

I know, their apartment is cool, many beautiful places on the water too

You watch the uptick of cases they will fudge because of this in Detroit

She’s keeping us locked down and the state only has 3.4% positive cases right now

Her numbers are so skewed too and she’s keeping whole regions shut down for one county, Kent , it’s the only one at 10.1% in the whole state

Beautiful homes there but you need security 24/7

The U.S. Justice Department put the weight of its office Friday behind a business lawsuit seeking to overturn some of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's executive orders related to the coronavirus pandemic.

The governor said the development was a White House move that "seeks to undermine the health and safety of Michigan residents."

The Justice Department filed a "statement of interest" in a lawsuit filed April 28 in federal court in Grand Rapids by seven small businesses who allege Whitmer's orders are unconstitutionally arbitrary and discriminatory, allowing some businesses to operate while other businesses in similar situations are forced to close.

The Justice Department can intervene in civil lawsuits through statements of interest intended to explain to courts what interest the federal government has in disputes between private parties.

It’s a party

The Grosse Pointes are prepping for a BLM drive through protest today

They are starting in Harper Woods and making their way through all of the Pointes down to Detroit

Thank you so much for thinking of MIL, she actually looks better than she has in years

She had her birthday on the 23rd and her kids got to go inside to wish her a happy birthday and give her a hug it’s the first time they’ve been able to see her since March

They have a video of one of her caregivers asking her how old she is and she said 40, lol

She also said she thinks that she looks better than Dolly Parton does and she doesn’t know why Dolly Parton thinks she’s so hot
