My buddy said he has a friend in coast guard, who said by monday all of this is happening. He asked a different buddy of his for verification- who is wife of a late coast guard. she still gets emails. she said "yup. how did you hear about that? we arent supposed to be telling people."

So naturally, I come on GLP to see if this info is here too... and come across this post. same exact info in here that my buddy said.

The Defense Production Act signed today also makes it legal for the Fed and Military to seize all assets of all citizens under the guise of national security. They can trump up an excuse to get yours if they can pretend you did not cooperate with them.

The thing is though, if people actually listened to the recommendations from the CDC, their state governors, and so on and so forth; they wouldn't have to do a 2 week quarantine. So before you go out and riot and start shooting up shit, remember its your own damn fault.

BUT...that is assuming this all isn't a hoax, and the beginning of the end. Not trying to be a dick, I know we need money to survive, but I can only comment on what I see.

Two weeks won't stop the virus, if indeed it has as high an r0 as they say. It will just spread after the two weeks.

They want all people in home in place so that they can orderly transition to the new gov which will be allocating all needed items to you now (think rations). Nothing you own is actually yours now. Probably never was.

Fwd:I received a call very late last night from a source that works for Homeland security. He said that they are preparing to mobilize the national guard. Preparing to dispatch them across the US along with military. Next they will call in 1st responders. He said they are preparing to announce a nationwide 1 week quarantine for all citizens. All businesses closed. Everyone at home. They were told to pack and be prepared for up to 30 days deployment which he said means they may extend the quarantine up to 30 days. He told me to notify our family members and have them stock up and be prepared. They will announce this as soon as they have troops in place to help prevent looters and rioters... he said he got the call last night and was told to pack and be prepared for the call today with his dispatch orders. He thinks they will announce before the end of the weekend to keep people home on Monday”

So, given this, should I pay off my mortgage or sit tight? I'm worried about losing my nest egg that is for paying off the mortgage. I am still working and people around me are clueless this is unfolding like it is.
