Sometimes you have to look hard for it but it's true!

I'll start:

Those 5 pounds I gained this winter? Not stressed about it! In fact I'm getting reacquainted with my old friends CARBS. We've been apart so long!

Here's another: more time with my kids.

What's your silver lining? There always is one, it might be small but it's there

Love yas!

yep, already losing weight but only want to lose about 5 pounds so not really an issue

cleaning up clutter in the house, going through boxes of packratted stuff I don’t really need, doing little home repair stuff I had been putting off

it’s really quiet where I am, it usually is but now it’s kind of eerie, I usually hear the occasional motorcycle coming up the road but now nothing, no highway noise from down below, either
Forgive your enemies, it messes with their heads.

Thoughts create, mind them well.

With professional sports on hiatus, millions of men will have to focus on something else. Like how the idiots we allowed to be in charge have led us to the edge of the abyss . . .
And the fish are returning to the Venice canals.

The financial system that I despise to my very core is imploding before my eyes. It's hard not to smile even if I become homeless. I've already been through that once and survived.

Was layed off in January. Decided, screw it, I’m going to move back home where my kid and grandkids are.

I did the process backwards, I bought a small house in the mountains close to them. Then I put my house on the market. My house sold with a large profit but less than $250,000.
Anyway, this allows me now to recast my loan to have a minimal monthly mortgage.

Found a job I start next week. Not making bank but will cover the costs of living.

Daughter and husband get in a bind, my house is large enough for us all to work/live together collectively and survive.

These times call for working together and planning ahead.
The real question is, do you even doodle Bro?

Beautiful replies. I have observed that often when it seems like something "bad" happens it ends up being for the good. It might take a while to see. God has a plan.

I feel like this is a time of renewal. Time to return to simpler ways. Families and communities coming together. People getting a reality check, seeing that their petty problems don't really matter.

Love rules and God is in control. Never forget that.

I send my love and good energy to you all. I mean it sincerely.

People are improving their hygiene a bit because of it.

Hopefully, the US regains some of its manufacturing from China.

Giving up porn is for privileged people. Involuntary celibates need it. Yes I’m talking about the ones with too many disadvantageous parameters converging in their life to give them any hope of climbing out of the hole of depression that is their normal mode of being. That, and, some people really shouldn’t reproduce. Better keep their biodata out of the gene pool. Let them have the small luxury of a <10 second dopamine spike to alternate from the heartnumbing mindless gray of their existence.

By the way it’s also good for sociopaths like me to suppress the impulse of wanting to cause other people pain and enjoying their suffering. If the acting is real enough...well, I’m lazy enough ;) Plus I like my freedom and it’s best to keep the libido low or there’s no telling what kind of devil I’d become. Not interested in living a life on the run!

So there’s a silver lining to it.

Here’s a silver lining from the porn thread. Be nice to the incels or else no one will play violent video games with me if they kill themselves. Thanks!
