A bug-in is not a terrible thing at this point in time. It's smart and will most likely save many hundreds of thousands of lives around both Australia and NZ.

However, be prepared for the powers that be in both countries to go full retard if anyone disobeys. People WILL disobey and our rulers WILL go full retard. Millennials, the Chinese community, arab community, african communities - particularly in Victoria will scoff at all this and just do what they want, then they'll spread the bug, create mini-outbreaks around the place and end up beat down for it by a brutal, overreacting law enforcement response.

We haven't seen anything like the totalitarian government we're about to experience since the days of the Second World War.

Let's hope our rulers are smart enough to relinquish their powers to pre-pandemic levels when the situation eases. I'm thinking they won't.
