BREAKING NZ Level 3 then 48hrs later Lock Down

My mother just wrote me. She said, NZ is on level 3 and within 48hrs it will be level 4 lock down.

5.40pm: Govt issues list of essential businesses but questions remain around workers; telcos working to fix calling issues

A list of “essential businesses”, i.e. those that are allowed to stay open during the shutdown, has been published on the government’s covid19.govt.nz website, with a caveat that the list may evolve over time. The list includes accomodation and border services; building and construction; courts; education (at level three only); fast-moving consumer goods (businesses involved in the supply, delivery, distribution and sale of food, beverage and other key consumer goods, but not takeaway shops); financial services; health; local and national government; primary industries including food and beverage production and processing; public safety and national security; any entity (including research organisations) involved in Covid-19 response, hazard monitoring, resilience, diagnostics for essential services; welfare and social services, including NGOs, which meet immediate needs; transport services, New Zealand Post and courier services, any small passenger service vehicle driver – including taxis and ride-share services; utilities and communications, including supply chains.

My brothers wife is a detective last time I checked. She is working from home. My brother runs a company. My mother has the children during this. I'm worried for all of them. Not sure what a lock down in NZ means. Because we have never been through one. I live in America now, with my husband and kids.
