Either Trump is a genius or the United States is doomed

It's one or the other.

Every country in the world is going into lockdown or has already gone into lockdown. From Morocco to New Zealand to the UK, Argentina, Colombia, Italy, etc every mathematical model confirms the same, suppression is the only way to beat this virus.

This isn't rocket science. The virus has an incubation period of 14 days. You close our borders, no one gets in, then you put everyone in home quarantine for 14 to 20 days. During that time, anyone who has the virus will manifest themselves, they get put into isolation with anyone with whom they have been in contact, and after 14 days the last of the cases are shown and numbers start to drop.

Look at Italy. They put the strict measures into place 14 days ago and they peaked on March 21 with 6,557 new cases. On March 22 that dropped to 5,560 and today to 4,789.

Now look at the United States.

Michael Baym predicted that the US would pass 10,000 cases by March 18th. They did, and they now have more than 10,000 new cases per day yesterday. By the end of this week there will be more than 100,000 cases in the US and, if Trump ends social distancing measures on March 30, there will be more than 1 million cases by April 4th.

So, either the world is wrong and Trump is a genius, or the United States is about to become the epicenter of the virus and the pariah of the world.

Americans: Prepare accordingly.
