nutmeg User ID: 76388104 United States 03/27/2020 10:15 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Thanks! My cousin just turned 39 years old in September and dropped dead at his desk at home a week after his birthday. Successful, good looking, nice guy....just married.... These people who are freaking out and playing the blame game have to realize that their family members, who have died, cannot live forever. You never know when your time has come. If these family members died of a stroke or a heart attack, they would never make the news! Last Edited by nutmeg on 03/27/2020 11:03 PM |

My wife's parents and her sister are gone. I could go on and on. Stories of individual deaths don't interest me. Sorry. The more I know, the crazier I appear to be. Anonymous Coward User ID: 77067311 United States 03/27/2020 10:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The last time Jim Tomlin, 77, saw his wife, Marcia, he was being loaded into an ambulance at their home at Bull Lake south of Troy, where he had begun feeling feverish and confused, and suffering a persistent cough Monday evening. Quoting: SWOOPSTER Having just returned from a California vacation as that state went into lockdown, health care workers were concerned it could be COVID-19, and wouldn’t let his wife ride along, in hopes of preventing any further infections. Three days later he died at a hospital in Kalispell, the state’s first coronavirus death. His death came 7 minutes after Gov. Steve Bullock ordered the state's residents to shelter in place starting Saturday. His son, G. Scott Tomlin, documented on social media the stress, the waves of hope and the crushing loneliness suffered by his father as he succumbed to the pandemic. A Facebook post Thursday night, just hours after his father died, has been shared more than a thousand times. On Friday, Tomlin recounted the experience to the Missoulian, in hopes people will take the threat of the virus seriously, even in a rural place like Montana's northwestern corner. Because Libby is a hotspot for lung diseases due to the past asbestos mining there, Jim Tomlin was under the care of a highly trained respiratory specialist, his son said, leaving the family relieved by the high level of care he was receiving. Are you saying that because he's over 70 that his life doesn't matter? What was the point of your post other than to show your apathy for the suffering of other human beings? My circle is no longer nearly so big, but I still don't know anyone that's definately had it. I do know quite a few people who have had a funny illness around January to February of this year tho. It's a popular topic at work because so many have noticed it and everyone's wondering. |
