Virus Driven Changes To Economy

Your thoughts on how Covid 19 virus will change the economy

My thoughts:

New car sales plummet because people will be content to keep their cars quite a bit longer. I have a 2012 truck, was considering getting a newer one. Now think I will keep this another 10 years. Costs less to change motor and tyranny than wasting money on a new one.

I'm not going on cruises, think many others will not either

Rather have a few drinks at home or go to a friends place instead of restuarant or bar

I will definitely remember the hardest hit places and never move there

Side hustles - Everyone needs a side hustle! Think more and more people will be working on hustles instead of doing useless things.

Absolutely will not attend large events until there is proven vaccine/treatments- even if that means waiting 2-3 years.

I have home machine shop. I'm open to making anything local need. Think local manufacturing will come back in a big way.
