No way in hell they only have less than 10,000 confirmed cases, unless they’re simply not testing (or they’re lying). No. Way. In. Hell. This virus was engineered to be highly infectious, and since its new, that means NO human is immune to it, which means ALL humans will eventually be exposed to it and become infected (how each person responds to it is a different matter). Quarantines can slow it down, but it WILL come into contact with every person alive at some point. Those numbers are bullshit. . |

South Korea has a much smaller population and has semi-ironclad control over their citizens similar to China but with a higher percentage of tech jobs that could easily be done from home. They may have effectively implemented quarantines, telecommuting, mask requirements, rationing and social distancing to significantly slow the spread. I'll have to do more research into what they've done and how transparent they have been. |
