The quality time with the children is not the problem. It is the constant cooking, doing dishes, cleaning up messes, laundry, the noise, the whining fussy children because they want to go out, do this do that, play with friends and you have to say no. Trying to get them to do school work you hardly understand. It is a very hard adjustment, very stressful at times. No parent can say they do not get stressed at times and just need to relax in peace and quiet for a bit.
