Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4710333 i use to be very social but police state ruined it. now life has noreal excitement.no real joy.nothing to look forward to. that is the thoughts of old men and its being put in the heads of young people. its very sad.a boring world with no fun or joy. yet some sick piece of shit thinks its fun to tear up the sandbox playground and hurt all of us. and the school teachers allow the rich retarded brat to get away with it. I relate to this. When people say reality doesn't feel real anymore, try going to court for 22 months for something police made up. Paid my shitty lawyer, fines and lost my drivers license for a year. I had no way to get groceries, lost all my friends, lost all my money, wake up with panic attacks, paralyzing depression, it created arguments with my family, not able to visit my grandmother in the nursing home until she died. All of that occured one month after losing my gf I had for 10 years. I don't think anyone else that I know understands how evil police, lawyers and the judicial system really is. It's pretty bad when you hope to not wake up every morning even 3 years later. Right now at this very moment I wish I wasn't alive. |

I would relish having some time home. I have so many things I want to do. I come home from work and work like a dog in the garden. Last night I planted 12 corn stalks, weeded an asparagus bed and fertilized with composted chicken poop, walked to the neighbor behind me to give them two extra tomato plants I had with some chicken fertilizer and cleaned out another bed I plan to put onions in. I hardly now this neighbor, don’t even know a name but saw his kid leaning over my fence the day before to get a lemon from my tree. I then leaned over to give them more than one lemon and I saw all this wasted area in their yard so decided to give them something to grow. This morning before work I will need to feed my new sourdough starter and check the chickens. Then after work plant the onions and weed my other asparagus bed. My list is long and I wish I could have some down time. What I wouldn’t do is watch tv. People get outside for fresh air and begin to grow food. |

Stayed home, wrote music, read, played games (did some streaming to my friends of an adventure game so we could all play together), sunbathed a bit during the nice days last week. If I didn't have news or GLP access I would just think this is basically every other Tuesday, ever. Quoting: Brian Moran I once didn't leave the house for 7 years except a once a week trip to the grocery store and to take the trash out. I'd leave the mail in the box so long that the mailman would ring my doorbell all pissed off at me. I told him if he's so mad to stop putting junk in my mailbox and just throw it out himself. The amount of actual mail I received worth keeping was so low it would take a couple of years to fill up my box. Yeah, I could do this indefinitely. I have nobody to impress, nobody to con out of their affection or money, nobody I need validation from. Just an endless sea of shit I like to do around the house. I drank a fifth of rum every night and 6 DR Peppers and had a shitty diet of white bread, salami and mayonnaise sammiches and after 7 years of that I got pretty fucking fat I will say. I also had to train myself to walk again because I literally forgot. But my WoW character got to level 60 and had the best fucking weapons. It was so worth it. As completely sad and disgusting as this story is, I love the fact that you are not ashamed of it. :this!: Classic GLP post. |

I work around people normally and cannot even get away from that working from home. I just have them emailing, texting, phoning, and video conferencing all hours of the day and night. It's not the isolation it's the unknown that is killing me. I was laid off last week and I was told by an EX boss that He would take Me back and I would get preferential treatment on a certain type of work I did specifically for Him for 6 years. The thing is the work isn't based upon the price of oil and it's mandated by the government that the offshore oil companies salvage old platforms and clean the sites so they are returned back to their natural state. The thing is oil is going so low that the main client could actually go under and if that happens then there will be no one to pay to have those sites salvaged. I had to call the bank about My mortgage and tell them I lost My job and had to file unemployment for the first time ever so the stress is whats killing me. I also wished I had someone to talk too so I could sort through My feelings but I guess I don't deserve that. Quoting: jkm1864 Hang in there. I know the feeling. Before this all started I was on cloud nine, I enjoyed my work more than ever before and was finally making some real money. Had the rug ripped out from under me. My job was "temporary", and well frankly I don't know when and how that company will recover from this. It will be a new normal. It was challenging mentally, to be happy where you are at and then not know what you're going to do. Things are taking shape now. Look for other work, it helps a lot. |
