Does anyone here wonder why Tool's last and final Album revolved around 'Exhaling a Contagion' while having Immunity to it?

Each song is about some component of the Contagion, and because of it, Descending deeper and deeper into the abyss.

Tool sucks

Themes of how people think they're Invincible, and then get broken down and humbled by the Contagion.

And then finally themes of having to cull the voices of all those dying, using faith alone in the Immunity.

That's not really relevant. The theme of the album is.

I don't think they precisely knew anything specific when they were writing the Songs, but I do think they picked up on something.

If you think in context to our current situation, and could just wander around hospitals and areas filled with Covi-19 infection, and have total immunity, you would 'Bless the immunity' too.

The entire album is themed around having immunity to a virus.

The album cover also seems to be some type of artistic reference to the double helix of DNA too...
