My hubby touched the gas pump handle and lied about it.

We have been in isolation since the first of February because we are both high risk. Hubby catches every virus that comes within 50 feet of him. The grass is getting tall so he went alone to get gas this morning. I gave him nitrile gloves to wear and a N95 mask to put on if someone else was at the pump beside him.

He went early while I was still asleep. He told me he didn't wear the mask so he would save it for later. I asked if anyone was around him and he said no. A little while later I asked him if he wore the gloves. He answered back "nuha". "Nuha" is the answer the kids would give us when they didn't do something we asked. I asked again and he told me he didn't wear them that he used hand sanitizer. His version of using hand sanitizer is to plop a teeny drop on his palms and rub them together. None ever touches the tops of his hands or his fingers. In order to kill viruses alcohol needs to stay wet for 60 seconds.

Needless to say I had a cow. He is 67 and has bad lungs. He is super out of breathe just climbing the stairs. I am 10 years younger and have multiple medical issues all high risk for a Covid-19 infection. I am so pissed that he put himself and me at risk over vanity!!! Why are men so pig headed stupid???
