During the time of the founding of this country people still believed Miasma theory was responsible for pandemics.

Yes they knew about Pandemics but I'm not sure I'd want to take their advice on dealing with one.

What about shamdemics?

Your forefathers were up against an enemy they had to fight face to face. An enemy that used horses, muskets, swords, cannons and men. They could move and hide and never be discovered.

Your forefathers would shit their pants silly if they had to fight an invisible enemy. An enemy that could launch satellite guided missiles that could annihilate millions of people in one shot in a blaze brighter than the sun. An enemy that could live half way around the globe and all they have to do is push a button. An enemy that didnt even need to be on the planet to destroy you. An enemy that could track your every movement from space, no where to run, being able to follow you in the night, underground, in the trees, in the water, in the air. Ready to strike you at any moment they wished and you would never have seen their face, or even know who they were.

All your forefathers had to do is gather an army strong enough to fight a physical battle to win.

You, today, would have to do a million times more in every aspect, and you would still likely lose.

I haven't given up shit and I'm highly disturbed with what I'm seeing happen.

We definitely went down a road we shouldn't have. Anything we see happening will now happen over smaller and smaller things, if it ever even goes back to normal. Pretty soon we'll be expected to stay home for every seasonal flu. Relax, I'm not calling this the seasonal flu. It's definitely being used as the catalyst to usher in some scary shit though, and that scary shit is being welcomed with open arms by the sheep.

We're one step away from having to have papers and permission from the government to leave the house. They'll tell us when, where, how, what to wear and what we can buy. It's coming.

You thought Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia was bad? That'll have nothing on this if people don't wake up.

This is a totalitarian governments wet dream. People are asking to give up their rights and turning those in who don't because they think it keeps them safe. Wow.
