I think people are bored with corona doom, so they need this to be something more than it is. It's an escape from reality.

I'll admit, that would be far more interesting if it were true. I think you are absolutely right about this. It's just feel good bullshit the network or whoever issues the news from the Central Source, put out. Like "We're all in this together" and all the war-time analogies bullshit that only a retard would heed. I hate all this kumbayah shit. I'd much rather see someone with a machine gun on there blasting the shit out of their sets. Yep. When these network execs are doing something real to actually help me, then maybe I'll believe they're "here with me." Until then, it's just words on a screen.
