About patients on ventilators likely to die
It seems the standard thought from GLP is that patients on ventilators are likely to die and from what I seen they seem to think the ventilator is the cause of the death. Isn't it more likely that the ventilator is just not working effectively to prevent the death? I think people have their cause and effect mixed up.

Some of you make it sound like this is the holocaust where normal people are being sent to their deaths via ventilator. No those people are in the worst shape possible and thus the ventilator is a tool to save their lives, even if not a highly effective one.

BTW I'm sure that's what Trump meant to when he said "you all know what it means to be on a ventilator" just that it's likely that patient wont survive. Not that the ventilator is actually killing them!

ventilators work.
but they cant keep a person alive if they are dead.

you just cant let people get dependent on them for too long. because then peoples lungs wont want to work on their own anymore.

Ok a person has coronavirus and is going to die, and they put them on a ventilator which gives them 15% chance of living. The alternative is 0% chance of living. Conspiracies are fine but when you're flat out being misleading you should be ashamed of yourself.

Its only 85% that die
The remnant of Jacob will be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a young lion among flocks of sheep, which mauls and mangles as it goes, and no one can rescue.

When the lungs are compromised and are dealing with a stoma, you keep things that come in contact with that area sterile. Other than that, everything's good. Minor infections from time to time.

The breathing tube brings bacteria straight into the lungs
Causing pneumonia aka VAP

And I’d you have corona and get VAP you’re pretty much dead

thats a long time
did your family buy the ventilator?

most doctors wont let someone stay on a ventilator that long unless the family buys the ventilator. and then if you buy it and someone is on a ventilator for a month or more it means they will have to use it for the rest of their life because after 4 or 6 weeks on a ventilator a persons lungs wont want to ever work on their own again.
at least that's what I was told.

a long time ago (1996) I was on a ventilator after a car accident for about 4 days (87.5 hours to be exact) because both of my lungs completely collapsed.
& my doctors were worried about keeping me on it any longer because they were worried my lungs wouldn't want to work themselves once they shut it off.
& that was only about 4 days

We have good insurance. Payed for by them. It is best to get off the ventilator as soon as possible. There are portable units that you can carry in a back pack.

And they die alone with horrible tubes in their lungs.

Nobody would do that.

I think the ventilators are actually killing them.

I think this "bat" virus is actually a tiny miniscule invisible BAT PARASITE, with spikes all over it, like some kind of a mutant spider spikey thing that tears your cells apart and makes people unable to breathe.

And that is why iverston and quinine based drugs work.

And people need these and the antibodies and should be taking things that defeat parasites.
