A hospital in Sarasota, FL, furloughed a bunch of nurses because they are slow. Nobody is going to the hospital right now unless they are screwed up and dying anyway. While med personnel may be laid off in the quantities you describe, I do not believe it's because of the healthcare system, per se. It's because nobody wants the Wuhan on top of whatever it is they have.

In the meantime, your frontline healthcare workers have been forced to work for free or get held liable for patient abandonment, work so short staffed that normal is a 14 hour day running without food and water. No money has been going to the front lines to pay staff for the work that they do or resource them to do their jobs. They have no control over this yet all the liability and abuse from the public.

It has been that way for years..... and no, that is not what nurses and doctors 'signed up for'. They are not slaves so you can be a fat diabetic pig.

In addition to this, the system has you delusional fucktards thinking that the frontline staff are the recipients of your medicare tax, hospital bills, and insurance payments. These delusions feed into your abuse of the slaves (nurses, docs, cna's).

It has been this way for years while the deluded, brainwashed public remain completely ignorant and entitled.

My wife was layed off from the hospital today.

She works as a anesthesia tech prep.

No elective surgeries. The back log is going to be tremendous.

If you're in agony with a a joint problem; you need eye surgery to see or ear surgery to hear; therapy or surgery for a serious back problem - YOU AREN'T GOING TO BE ABLE TO GET IT! Even cancer patients are being told they have to have wait for surgeries. This is Zeke Emmanuel's Obamacare care curve thing where the very young and middle aged and up get no care care other than "wellcare" (vaccines and a physical) and all care is focused on working taxpayers. Just listening to Mark Levin. he was reading the layoff figures from a source I didn't catch. He named several hospitals that are so slow that they're laying off hundreds of workers (each location) and few that are EMPTY. He said he has a family member who is in dire need of a hip replacement and is in a lot of pain. Because of the idiot (R) governor of Ohio, he cannot get the surgery.

There was a Youtube, posted here last week, of one of the people going around showing nearly empty hospitals that showed supplies being REMOVED from a large hospital and loaded into vans. Right then, I knew it - our health care system is being destroyed right before our eyes. While we get non stop MSM and Trump updates reports about "war zone" hospitals, swamped with C-19 patients (if those reports are even true), hospitals all over the country are closing down because they aren't treating anyone! I have a very bad feeling they won't be coming back. They're either going to close down permanently or be recommissioned for other purposes. Have an in-law in the emergency department at Beaumont. She is pretty scared at this point with what's she's seeing there.

Actually, her husband's grandmother (my mother-in-law) died 3 weeks ago. They buried her yesterday because the funeral home has so many bodies ahead of her.

Even better, the nurse at the funeral home that works with the bodies contracted COVID from them, was sick for 3 days and died last Friday. Then the director of the funeral home got it and is at home now. My brother in law was there several times last week. Today is the first time he's eaten since last Wed because he's so sick.

NONE of this makes any sense to me. Closing some, laying off, staff too sick to work, overcrowded hospitals, understaffed. It's like a health care circle jerk.
