Better off stacking Gold, Platinum & Palladium if you are in it to try to make money...
Best Long term strategy is to acquire enough of all 4 metals so that when normal market forces get the ratios out of whack.. you can trade one metal for another and increase your holdings long term...
Be a scrapper in your spare time and simple swap scrap for silver...
And forget saving your pennies... save your Goddamn Nickels!!!!

The last few years tin has also been cheap. Can find tin objects at flea markets for pennies on the dollar. Worst case scenario they make good home decorations.
Problem is, mining and resources may become hard to source. Borders may close. Sources may dry up. Meaning these old items - copper, tin, silver, etc - will become sought after. Price will go up, scrappers will be looking for them.
A 1/2 ton of tin could be worth the price of several nice homes in short order.
Twenty pounds of silver could fetch you a large patch of land and self-sufficiency.
Silver could fetch you a large amount of real estate.
Obviously a major malfunction ...
