Around a year period 2009 H1N1 killed around 12,500 Americans, while in less than 40 days SARS-CoV-2 as killed around the same amount. So are you tards gonna keep claiming it was worse than the current Pandemic???

I can offer a reason but it's just a hunch, the elderly and infirm/underlying health conditions are definitely more vulnerable so they would have died at some point from (insert health condition here) but the CV-19 Hastened the end.

I've had a look at the graphs and see the stats that are influencing your opinion. I'd like to remind you that the flu season is over, therefore ones bound to see a reduction in flu deaths from previous weeks. Also the argument that it's 'just flu' doesn't hold water as the CV-19 is a confirmed Novel virus and not the same as 'regular flu'. They can both have the same outcome but one can be more lethal than the other.

Here's an example for you.

'Regular' flu season kills the same 'category' of person as the CV-19 and for exactly the same reasons, ARDS, So someone is classed as being killed by flu when in fact they had an underlying condition which exacerbates their demise.

And....the virus itself (be it wu-flu or regular flu) isn't what kills you directly, it's the reactions of your own body that kills you.

Are you aware that it's not in the best interest of a virus to kill its host?

In same ways I can't argue with your logic but it all falls back to how you percieve the virus and its danger. I see it as being contagious and dangerous therefore best practice is isolate and control. But personally I can see us being on and off with the quarantine for quite a while yet.

1)You say no test available, so does that mean the Novel virus doesn't exist? You see if it was a known virus there would be a test?

2)Corona is a coverall, the specific virus was named CV-19 and its new to science and medicine. You know as well as I do the UK flu season is over at this time of year.

3) Sars is corona...yeah they are of the same family but you are being too generic.

5)SARS less lethal than reg flu, well again that may be true in some ways but has no relevance to a novel virus even of the same family.

6) Sars 2 less lethal than regular flu? I haven't got the patience but if you look at a person with ARDS on average they have a 50/50 chance of recovery from an ICU, but with the CV it looks like the average is 80% chance of death. -
