I have a delivery booked from Tesco.
Its a week away.

Each day i have logged on to check my cart.
Every day things become "Unavailable"
Every day i edit the order.
Every day there is less and less choice.
Every day i choose a substitute.
Every day more items become "Unavailable"
Rinse & repeat.

Things that nobody wanted weeks ago when this lockdown started are now being snapped up.

I went shopping yesterday for eggs.
Qued at LIDL 30mins..No eggs.
Walked to Sainsbury...Que 5 times longer than at LIDL.
Stand in a que for 2-3 hrs and maybe still get no eggs. Screw that.
Went to Londis that is way of my route, Yay eggs, expensive, factory eggs.

My guess.
Londis wont have eggs after the weekend.

There are and will be more shortages.

I'm thinking of going to the grocery wholesaler and buying a 50lb sack of Gold Medal's All Trumps flour(NOT BLEACHED - NOT BROMATED. Premium hard red spring wheat flour. Highest protein level of the hard red ). I'm afraid that I might not be able to use that much before it goes bad. Any GLPers in the Central Arkansas area want to split it? Good pizza flour.
