Quoting: Anonymous Coward 281483If the neoconservatives didn't gleefully equate anyone on the left with the terrorists enough, they sure will now. Chomsky, Hersh, Hitchens...all have been even more critical on what Chomsky calls "State Run Capitalism" - corporations are backing local governments into corners, holding the promise of increase local GDP (which manifests itself as consumer spending) - in exchange for favors and tax breaks (coincidentally why our tax system is completely illegal and unfair) - this is why we bear such a heavy tax burden. I read the entire transcript and quite frankly, it sounds more sober and thoughtful than what any of the 19 presidential candidates have to say on globalization. Also, ~6 billion people on the planet. 4 billion practice Islam...who's right? CSL |

Justification REJECTED! Quoting: CosmogenesisAllah is NOT the name for God in any language. However it is another name for Satan. Proove this... link ??? u full of hate and willing... self willing for war bastard... You will find your proof by just researching how Monammed came upon the name Allah. You ask for a link. There were no links available when Mohammed had his vision. As far as being full of hate, stating a fact would not be hate. On the contrary though to want to PREVENT one from or ridicule one for presenting a fact has a very close kinship to hate. Its called control. People who hate usually wants control of others also. |

U.S. officials had analyzed the video for hours before transcripts and videos were leaked, the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue. … Soon after word emerged that the United States had the video, Islamic militant Web sites that usually carry statements from al-Qaida went down and were inaccessible. Hours later, the sites were back up, but by late Friday, the video still had not been released on the militant Web sites. The reason for the shutdown was not immediately known. Evan H. Kohlmann, a terrorism expert at globalterroralert.com, said he suspected it was the work of al-Qaida itself, trying to find how the video leaked to U.S. officials. Apparently our intelligence efforts are getting much better. Also, don’t take this call to Islam lightly; according to PBS’s special “America at the Crossroads” on our confrontation with radical Islam, apparently Osama bin Laden was roundly criticized by some Imam’s for not giving the U.S. ample warning of the 9/11 attacks — which includes offering them the opportunity to convert. This is why in some of his other dispatches, he has offered to be Bush’s spiritual guide in converting to Islam. From what my basic understanding is of this radical form of the religion, if you offer conversion and it is rejected, then mass killing is justified. |

Also, arabic forums like muslm . net are reporting that western media reported the tape translation all wrong. After all, they've been blood brothers on everything from global warming to hating Bush. Just look at the above nutty poster. I have seen, incredulously enough, some people here who have the temerity to state that the U.S. has Bin Laden in custody and makes him record these videotapes. Well, they don't call this place a "lunatic fringe" for nothing. I've also seen some who state that Bin Laden has been dead for years. Well, he must have possessed some great prophetic abilities to know that Sarkozy would be elected President. Wow, not only a liberal, not only a terrorist, but also a prophet!! Isn't that great, libs? What some fools on here don't seem to understand is that Bush DOESN'T NEED to scare you. He could care less. Congress can't make him do anything. He can do whatever he likes. He's got two years left, and he doesn't need the PEOPLE. And STILL you retards think he needs to scare the people into following him. You idiots - he could launch an attack on Iran tomorrow without any approval from anyone. That's why he's called the Commander in Chief. You overvalue yourselves. The people elect representatives, and they elect the President. Clearly you're in the minority, or Bush wouldn't be President. Liberals always say "Well, the country's changed since then.." Haha - I've been hearing that for 6 years now, and nothing's changed; liberals have only gotten angrier. What you don't seem to realize is Bush doesn't need Bin Laden. In fact, he doesn't need anybody. He could give a fuck about you. He could care less if you're scared or not. I doubt that they were too happy when King George (take your pick) called our Constitution "a G__d____ piece of paper". Quoting: SupernormalTruly, I appreciate your observations here. I wonder if I am naive to think that with a President like Washington, we might have had bountiful trade and a theological truce...not a foreign war and threats to our own cities. The self-styled “Great American” proved just what kind of patriot and freedom lover he truly is by twice likening Democrats to Osama Bin Laden. Is there any partisanship more despicable? Take action! With video. Updated with advertiser and political contact information. In the first part of a two-part discussion, the sole guest was Bush’s former Chief of Staff, Andrew Card. At about 3 minutes into the discussion, Hannity said, “(Bin Laden) seemed to adopt the very same language that is being used by the hard left in this country as he describes what’s going on in Iraq as a civil war, he actually used the term ‘neocons,’ he talks about global warming, he demonizes capitalism and corporations in this whole thing - very, very specific language...” Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. ...Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.
