There idea of malaria control now is to wipe out mosquitoes using pesticides. Before the advent of DDT, they identified the areas of the mosquito which causes malaria and were fairly successful in greatly reducing the numbers. This really has nothing to do with current events.

Hell, with the advent of DDT, I remember in the 50's the town trucks coming by and spraying all the trees with DDT. We were told to stay inside while they sprayed. What a joke, the trees would be dripping the shit for hours afterward, not to mention the residue left on the trees, grass and shrubs.

The TVA is another example of socialism. It should have been turned over to private enterprise long ago. It is definitely, the government knowing what's best for you and controlling the lives of those who live within the surrounding area of the TVA.
