Anonymous Coward User ID: 78687621 ![]() 04/12/2020 09:57 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | tonic water has 0.5 percent Quinine Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78784212 by compare to the standard sized pill at 200mg Yea, you are right, needs tons of it I guess. But something is better than nothing. Still this guy seems authentic and have a good rant about fake news. yep 1L of typical tonic water has 83mg of quinine so in that sense you would have to drink ~2L to reach the same amount as the pharmaceuticals, but that amount on a regular basis does come with side effects. i've recently added tonic to my regular diet as a preventative, 1 to 2 glasses every day or so, sometimes with gin :) |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78677792 This doctor might be on to something: [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] I mean, tonic water and zink wont kill you so why not try it if you have symptoms. I would. I've been a fan of their Bitter Lemon for many years and yes it has quinine. Difficult to get in my part of the world though. |
