New York Times admits Biden team influenced edits to story on sexual assault allegation.
The change... The original sentence from the story read, "The Times found no pattern of sexual misconduct by Mr. Biden, beyond the hugs, kisses and touching that women previously said made them uncomfortable." It was later changed to: "The Times found no pattern of sexual misconduct by Mr. Biden."

Bogus explanation for the change: In explaining the editorial decisions that were put into the New York Times's coverage of Reade's allegations, the outlet also addressed comparisons to the newspaper's treatment of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's accusers. Baquet said the paper published allegations against Kavanaugh the day they were made because the larger story of sexual assault was already present with previous accusations from Christine Blasey Ford.

"Kavanaugh was already in a public forum in a large way. Kavanaugh’s status as a Supreme Court justice was in question because of a very serious allegation. And when I say in a public way, I don’t mean in the public way of Tara Reade’s. If you ask the average person in America, they didn’t know about the Tara Reade case," Baquet explained."
-----------------------------------------------------
WTF? the public doesn't know about the Tara Reade case? How about you do your job and report on the story so people can be informed and judge for themselves?

"Kavanaugh was already in a public forum in a large way. Kavanaugh’s status as a Supreme Court justice was in question because of a very serious allegation." What a bunch of BS... Kavanaugh's accuser had no corroboration at all and the media ran full speed with the accusations. Reade's accusations has two credible witness who were told of the incident at the time it occurred. (Reade says she subsequently told her mother, now deceased, and two friends, who confirmed to the Times that she’d shared her account with them. She also says she made harassment complaints to Marianne Baker, Mr. Biden’s executive assistant, and two of his top aides, Dennis Toner and Ted Kaufman, without getting into specifics. When they didn’t do anything, she says she filed a written complaint with “a Senate personnel office,” Now, IMO,that's 100 times more reliable/credible than Kavanaugh's accuser's accusations. Isn't Biden running for President? How's that not in a public forum?

Fake biased media? This Biden accusation needs to be vetted and investigated to the same extent Kavanaugh was investigated.

So AOC is the only congress person to speak about Biden's sexual assault?

Ocasio-Cortez's comments, made Tuesday evening (April 14)_ during an online conversation with the women-only networking space The Wing, marked the first time any national lawmaker has spoken about the allegation Reade leveled against Biden. Ocasio-Cortez said it's "not okay" to ignore issues surrounding sexual assault simply because Democrats want to defeat Trump.

Media Cover up? "For nearly three weeks, prominent Bernie Sanders supporters have wondered aloud when major news organizations would cover a sexual assault allegation against Joe Biden from a former Senate staff assistant. " [link to www.vanityfair.com (secure)]

“Every one of these outlets instantly reported on [Brett] Kavanaugh’s accusation when it was an anonymous letter they hadn’t even seen,” tweeted Branko Marcetic, a Jacobin writer and author of an anti-Biden book."

Damn, the media won't even ask Joe about the event.

According to a March 31 report by the Media Research Center (MRC), a conservative organization that monitors what it sees as liberal bias in the media, since the accusations came to light, “ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC and CNN haven’t said a single word about them.”

And according to the MRC, since the allegation went public, “CNN, MSNBC and NBC have hosted Biden for a total of three interviews (including an hour-long town hall on CNN), and no host asked even a single question about these new charges.”

We need to deconsolidate the media and break it up with anti trust law. Can't have 4 entities own all the news outlets.

The moment we no longer have a free press, anything can happen. What makes it possible for a totalitarian or any other dictatorship to rule is that people are not informed; how can you have an opinion if you are not informed? If everybody always lies to you, the consequence is not that you believe the lies, but rather that nobody believes anything any longer. And a people that no longer can believe anything cannot make up its mind. It is deprived not only of its capacity to act but also of its capacity to think and to judge. And with such a people you can then do what you please. Hannah Arendt
