Anonymous Coward User ID: 78783039 ![]() 04/15/2020 12:26 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I read that as: Some big object, a big giant chunk, or multiple junks, of freefloating space debris, zipped by some nearby star (some thousands upon thousands of years ago) and when that happened the chunks are disrupted and flung apart on different trajectories, thus being "pushed" out faster (like a gravity swing, you know?) ![]() If it was a UFO (well it was, unidentified flying object is a very loose definition that doesn't need to involve aliens), it would have to either have been a dead ship, or a generational asteroid ship of some sort. All sorts of sci-fi stories about that sort of ancient monolithic structure flyin' by, though.. It's easy to let the imagination go wild :D |
