I agree with her, and have experienced all the things she's talking about.

My Mum, has said she doesn't want to know, because it's all too disturbing, so I have stopped trying to discuss anything with her, and I tell her I see 5 fingers. She's old and frail, and I feel she's spending her short remaining time, completely fearing to have her family beside her, in case she gets the virus from them.

My kids (17 & 26 yrs old) think I'm insane when I talk about any of this stuff, so treat to me with utter disdain unless I agree to pretend I see 5 fingers.

I don't even care if I get the dreaded bug, but am curtailing my freedoms to respect the fear of others.
