Boils down to the same simplistic nonsense, "everything that is good happens because some god did it for you, everything that is bad happened because of your free will." It is really just a version of self loathing.
You see it when people say, "god saved me from the tornado that destroyed my house but fail to ask, why did god destroy my house with a tornado." Idiotic.
ALL religions and cults are simply power and money making businesses. Undeniable.

And whether you admit it or not, according to christian beliefs, those people are cursed to hell unless they finally convert. That is "simplistic" tyranny considering that 95% of the humans who have ever lived either have never heard of christanity or dispute it. But it is not really "christian beliefs", it is deception of literal understanding.
