It also doesn't worry me at all. To be perfectly honest we have so much scarier diseases here in Africa that the corona is the least of my worries. We worry about malaria and I think and according to a friend we had a few cases not so long ago, don't know if it's true. When the ebola was active in places in Africa the authorities did the necessary screening at airports, it is in the back of your head but you don't stress over it. During a trip to Malawi I contracted Bilharzia - also can kill you if it goes untreated. Had to drink 8 or 9 pills at once all together to kill the parasite. Had 2 treatments of that,the pills taste like poison and that alone makes you feel quite sick. Oh yes, I also contracted Cryptosporidium,that was not good at all, had to drink courses of antibiotics to finally kill the bug. My friend's father got Tb very badly and was for a long time in hospital. There's also congo fever that's usually transmitted by ticks, also as far as I know contagious but cases are very rare - that's in my eyes as bad as ebola and they also quarintine the patients. As you can see you can't go and hide behind a bush and be scared the whole time then you will never have a life to live. In the evenings we BBQ and the mosquitos frenzies on our blood but are we going to stop our lives - no! I'm not a medical expert but that's life here, So am I scared of a new bug? Nope. I've seen newsbroadcasts on your television and every second ad is about an illness and the different medications. I will totally loose my mind if I'm bombarderd the whole day with such negative images. That's no life, they are breeding sick people through fear.
