Re: Rations for the next month
I have 100lbs of beans, 100lbs of rice, 100lbs of floud, 100lbs of sugar, 25 packs of beef jerket, 30 cans of assorted meats, a freezer full of beef, various seasonings and condiments, canned vegetables, fruit, 20lbs of salt (wish I had more), various junk foods found at the discount store, 250 high protein bars and various high protein shakes also found at the discount store, a large garden with lots of potatoes and meat rabbits.

I'm a month in and still working through my stock of expired discount goods that I got for pennies on the dollar. (Yes, it's all still perfectly good to eat, some things are less palatable or a little stale but hey, it's easy and tastes OK.

yeah I am a chick and I like soup. But just opened the peaches, they taste good.

In future I think it'll be best to try to eat not a lot at first then eat more later in the month.Try to save some to shore up the next months rations, which are the same as the previous month.

yeh I'm gonna use some of the soup as sauce for the pasta, so thats 4 meals from two cans of soup.

I don't intend to dishearten you, but for all those kids out there, I think this is a 24 hours ration list.

and FISH is the only real food we evolved from orangutans who wrap huge leaves around fish and eat them like tacos so... yeah no fish on the list...

Re: Rations for the next month
a can of soup is like 400 calories. to actually survive without getting ill - with minimal exercise you want about double that and thats stretching it for a month.

No frozen? No potatoes? No flour? If you had to you could live off roti - give you all the calories you need - you can take vitamins or eat them with something.

roti - flour water salt.
